PhD candidate SeonHong Na received the Mindlin Scholarship and Teaching Assistant Excellence Award

PhD candidate SeonHong Na has received two special honors from Columbia University, (1) the Mindlin Scholarship and (2) the Teaching Assistant Excellence Award. 

1. The Mindlin scholarship is given to a graduate student in the Columbia Engineering school who demonstrates superior achievement, integrity, curiosity and creativity. The Mindlin scholarship is established by the Mindlin family and the SEAS in honor of the three Mindlin brothers (Eugene as an engineer and businessman, Raymond as a scientist and professor at Columbia, and Rowland as a physician and public health administrator).  


2. The Teaching Assistant Excellence Award is given to graduate student who has superior achievement as a teaching assistant in the Department of Civil Engineering and Engineering Mechanics. This is the second time SeonHong received this award.
